Battery Recycling at Lambeth Libraries
You can now take your old batteries to your local library and they'll recycle them for you. Batteries contain chemicals that potentially can harm human health. When you throw them in with your normal rubbish, they are likely to end up in landfill and can leak these chemicals into the ground. Recycling your batteries can also help recover some of the raw materials in order to be reused to make other products. This helps save to the planet’s resources by reducing the need to mine new materials.
